Second Sunday of Easter
Gospel: John 20:19-31 Our Easter celebration has once again come and gone. Participation in the liturgy has probably been a deeply moving and inspiring experience for many. But now life goes on as before, in a world that does not seem to have been changed. Perhaps we shall find the way forward in the faith journey of this Easter season if we reflect upon Jesus’ greeting of ‘Peace’. Teacher Background Image: Autumn Time by valiunic .Pixabay License. St Joseph the Worker
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labour, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my many sins; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honour to employ and develop, by means of labour, the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, prudence and patience, never surrendering to weariness or difficulties; to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success so vital to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after thy example, O Patriarch Joseph. Such shall be my motto in life and death. Amen. https://www.catholic.org/prayers/prayer.php?p=780 Novena for Workers, Unemployed, Underemployed Image Carpenters by Contributed by David Padfield fromhttp://www.freebibleimages.org/photos/carpenters-bible-times/ No attribution required |

Lectio of Nature
Consider and reflect on these words: "Everything in nature has a trademark, God's trademark. All bear God's fingerprints." Go for a walk and look for God's trademarks. Use a camera to document evidence of God's fingerprints in examples of nature in the school grounds. Lectio of Nature What do you see, feel, hear, smell?
