Trinity Sunday
In each of us there are personal depths, mysterious depths that others can know only if we choose to make them our friends. We should not be surprised, that in the boundless life of our God there is a mystery of overflowing life that is far beyond our complete comprehension. Yet - and here we are touching the very heart of our Christian faith, and its greatness - this mystery of personal life reaches out to us, and invites us into its friendship. World Oceans Day
Thank God for the oceans created. Close your eyes, pretend you have the sand in your toes and the waves are gently splashing back and forward. Pray a silent pray for the beauty and the joy the ocean provides us with. Make a list of things we can do to protect our oceans and all marine life for a better future. Feast of St Ephrem
According to tradition, Ephrem began to write hymns in order to counteract the heresies that were rampant at that time. Has a song ever moved you so much that it changed or challenged your faith or lifestyle -- for good or bad? How do you feel about the music you sing during liturgy? Put your whole heart and soul into the hymns you sing next. Listen to the words and let them speak to you. Prayer:Saint Ephrem, sometimes we treat the power of song lightly. Help us to open our hearts and souls to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit given us through music. Amen. Image: choir - Clker-Free-Vector-Images - https://pixabay.com/images/id-309051/ |

Feast of St Barnabas
A Jew, born in Cyprus and named Joseph, he sold his property, gave the proceeds to the Apostles, who gave him the name Barnabas, and lived in common with the earliest converts to Christianity in Jerusalem. Saint Fun Facts God our Father, You filled Saint Barnabas with faith and the Holy Spirit and sent him to convert the nations. Help us to proclaim the gospel by word and deed. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. https://www.catholicdoors.com/prayers/english/p00190.htm Image: St Barnabas - https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=211 |

Feast of St Anthony of Padua
St Anthony is venerated all over the world as the Patron Saint for lost articles, and is credited with many miracles involving lost people, lost things and even lost spiritual goods. Dear Saint Anthony, you are the patron of the poor and the helper of all who seek lost articles. Help me to find the object I have lost so that I will be able to make better use of the time I will gain for God's greater honor and glory. Grant your gracious aid to all people who seek what they have lost - especially those who seek to regain God's grace. Amen.
