Memorial of St Dominic (1170-1221)
An Augustinian, who established the Order of preachers called the Dominicans, is remembered as a preacher, organiser and patron of learning. He had a great devotion to Mary and encouraged his followers and others to pray the Rosary. Pray a decade of the Rosary for peace in the world. |

St John Vianney is remembered for his preaching and is honoured as a model for parish clergy. He showed the love of Jesus to all people.
