What are you grateful for this week?
Listen to this song of gratitude and, as the words are sung, think of something you are grateful for and pray words like these in your hearts- ‘Thank you God for your many blessings to us, I am grateful.’ Image - Calligraphy - 6072518 https://pixabay.com/images/id-2658504/ |

St John Eudes
St Eudes taught about the mystical unity of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and wrote: You must never separate what God has so perfectly united. So closely are Jesus and Mary bound up with each other that whoever beholds Jesus sees Mary; whoever loves Jesus, loves Mary; whoever has devotion to Jesus, has devotion to Mary. Hail Mary Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen Image: Mary with child Jesus - Friedrich_Mueller_ - https://pixabay.com/images/id-3418579/ |

Saint Bernard
Bernard of Clairvaux was a French abbot and a major leader in the revitalization of Benedictine monasticism through the nascent Order of Cistercians. Bernard was instrumental in re-emphasizing the importance of lectio divina and contemplation on Scripture within the Cistercian order. Pray today using the process of lectio divina. Psalm 135: Praising God.
Let us pray with the ancient words. Leader: O give thanks to the Lord for God is good. All: God’s love is everlasting. Leader: Give thanks to the God of gods. All: God’s love is everlasting. Leader: Give thanks to the Lord of lords. All: God’s love is everlasting. Leader: Let us take a short time to praise God in our own hearts. If you have more time, you may try creating an image of love through simple art, or mindful colouring of a heart shape as you take a time of silent reflection.
